I developed customer-facing content for major California utilities, translating complex energy and water issues into clear, useful communications.

For PG&E, I researched and wrote consumer stories that made technical power-and-energy topics accessible to customers. For San Jose Water, I implemented conservation messaging that translated regulatory information into clear, actionable language. Both projects came through agency partnerships.

The work required getting quickly inside unfamiliar subject matter, finding what mattered to the audience, and writing within established brand voices without losing clarity or humanity.

It’s the kind of challenge I’m drawn to: find the interesting thing inside a complicated system, then build the story that makes people care.
